Dr. Palydowycz is an honors graduate from Brown University. He completed his medical school training in 1989 at the University of Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. He served as an intern with distinction at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston New Jersey. Dr. Palydowycz received exceptional residency training at one of the country's busiest eye programs and completed his formal training in Ophthalmology in 1993 at the University Of Medicine Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Palydowycz is a board certified ophthalmologist and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1994. Dr. Palydowycz is founder of Tri-State Eye and practices comprehensive ophthalmology. He is highly skilled in the most advanced surgical techniques of eye surgery.
Dr. Palydowycz has earned recognition as an author of articles for peer reviewed medical journals and as an internationally recognized lecturer. He teaches cataract surgery to other physicians both locally and nationally. Dr. Palydowycz has been a clinical consultant and has assisted in clinical research and development of new products and equipment specifically for eye surgery.
Dr. Palydowycz's expertise involves anterior segment surgery and he has lectured nationally on recent advances of cataract surgical technique. He is fully trained in the treatment of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. He performs laser surgery for various eye disorders and diseases.
Dr. Palydowycz was the founder and director of the Laser Vision Institute. This center specialized in Laser Refractive surgery (Lasik) to correct nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness.

Dr. Haggerty grew up locally in Northeast Pennsylvania, born and raised in Honesdale. He is a graduate of Honesdale High School. He then attended college at Misericordia in Dallas, PA, where he received the Dr. Tatjana Petrychenkon award, given to the biology major with the highest grade point average. In 1996 Dr. Haggerty graduated Magna Cum Laude from Misericordia with a B.S. in Biology, and a minor in chemistry.
Dr. Haggerty enrolled at Pennsylvania College Of Optometry in Philadelphia. While there, he received his B.S. in visual science. As part of his P.C.O. education he trained at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA, as well as The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. In 2000 he graduated from Pennsylvania College Of Optometry.
Dr. Haggerty has been at Tri-State Eye since July of 2000. He works out of both office locations in Middletown, NY and Milford, PA. He performs full eye exams, follow-ups, and sees emergency patients. Dr. Haggerty is licensed in therapeutics to treat all eye diseases, including glaucoma. As part of an eye exam, he is able to diagnose cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, eye infections, and all other ocular disorders. He is a highly skilled and astute clinician and meticulous in his comprehensive exams. Dr. Haggerty is a caring and kind individual who is an asset to Tri-State Eye.
Dr. Guerriero graduated with honors from Queens College (CUNY). He received his medical degree in 1983 from Downstate Medical Center. He has extensive clinical and surgical experience from the world renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he received his Residency training in Ophthalmology.
As a third year resident, he won the prestigious Louis Girard Award which is given to the graduating senior who has made a significant contribution to Ophthalmic research. In 1989 Dr. Guerriero continued his specialty training in Atlanta, Georgia in the field of Retina, training under Dr.'s Bill Hagler and William Jarrett.
Upon finishing this training Dr. Guerriero started clinical vitreoretinal practices in the tri-state area. Dr. Guerriero is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists. With a seventeen year history in private practice, his experience in Medical and Surgical Retina is extensive. He is affiliated with Manhattan Eye & Ear and also Long Island College Hospital.
His major professional interests are in the areas of Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. He has exceptional clinical skills and is using the newest proven treatments for macular degeneration. He is up-to-date on all the newest research and treatment protocols in the rapidly advancing field of macular disease. He is a gentile individual who is sensitive to the special needs of retinal patients. Dr. Guerriero is dedicated to providing the highest level of medical care to all of his patients.
Dr. Ross is an honor's graduate from SUNY at Buffalo. He completed his medical school training at New York Medical College. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale University School of Medical affiliate Greenwich Hospital and a residency in ophthalmology at SUNY at Stony Brook affiliate Nassau University Medical Center. During this time he trained extensively with national leaders in glaucoma.
For more than 10 years, Dr. Ross practiced general ophthalmology with a special interest in glaucoma management in New York City and Long Island. He held an academic appointment at Nassau University Medical Center helping to train the next generation of ophthalmologists. He is proficient in various anterior segment laser procedures including SLT for the treatment of various forms of open-angle glaucoma.
Dr. Ross practices the full scope of ophthalmology and has in addition to his glaucoma interests performed intravitreal injections. He brings extensive academic knowledge and experience to our community. He is a highly personable and caring physician with excellent patient rapport and communicative skills.
